working the blue

At most times of the day the Danube could never be accurately described as being blue. But during the early evening hours the river treats the voyager to remarkable blue hues. Probably most waterways share this light wave phenomena. But I suspect there is something unique about the blue Danube.

Wayne, you have the ability to create art from ordinary subjects. Of course, the Danube is far from ordinary. (But the boat pushing a barge is.) The water clearly is the star of this show. The water mystically draws the viewer in. In my case, once I was there, I didn't want to come back. - - My best always, michael

such a beautiful -and slightly romantic- view of the Danube! I really like the blue water in motion, as well as the mountains and the evening sky with its reflections on the water surface. I would have preferred a more 'classic' looking boat in the image, but this is very good nonetheless. Kind regards, Vincent
