Beautiful battle for the defense of the nest, ciao Giangiorgio

Grazie Mille Giangiorgio! I like this shot very much since I was shooting the Black-necked Stilt pair for a week prior and they always try to chase me out and I had no idea why since I don't see any nest. A week ago, I finally see the nest with 4 eggs in it and ever since they will attack anything fiercely and I've seen this Great Egret got attacked before but could not get any shot . So, prior to laying eggs, they were staking out the territory but don't defend it as fiercely till the eggs came out for obvious reason.

Muchas Gracias Rosario! It's hard to catch them since they fight in the bushes. Actually, the Black-necked Stilts were so fierce that the Great Egret went to hide among the reeds, LOL.
