setsail728 15 Posted April 4, 2020 John,Over the years I find the expressions you coax out of your models to be one of the strong points (one of many) of your photos. Those expressions add character to the shot. This one is not exception. It projects a mood to the viewer! Excellent work!! Link to comment
John Peri 1,032 Posted April 5, 2020 Thank you very much Warren. Too often models are perceived as somewhat alien and artificial beings, whereas for the most part they can be warm hearted, genuine and sensitive people. Moreover, a lot of my models, including this one, are university graduates, hence intelligent and perceptive of their surroundings. Naturally, I don’t always succeed, but I try to capture informal moments in a shoot where their personality is more evident, and shyness and self-confidence become one, for true confidence is not arrogance but also awareness of one's fragility. Thank you, I truly appreciate your objective view of my work .. it’s really not meant to be just another nude. Link to comment
Yoyi 5 Posted April 25, 2020 John, I love your work and how you manage to get those beautiful expressions out of your models and how happy and complete they look. Just say thank you very much Link to comment
John Peri 1,032 Posted April 26, 2020 A kind and generous comment Rodrigo, thank you very much. Inasmuch as is possible, friends become models and models become friends .. i try to work always in a friendly and relaxed manner without pressure of any sort. Link to comment
