Wayne Sadler 591 Posted January 22, 2020 Celetná street or lane in Old Town Prague has quite a history. At one time Kafka and Mozart resided there, K.H. Mácha (the poet) used to frequent a café there and the Knights Templar held secret meetings at the Temple at 27 Celetná. I hunted for this Temple address and may have found it. Celetná is the name of a bread that was baked in the area during the Middle Ages. And a street named “Templova” is said to run through the building. I tracked the address to a building with the name “Templu” written on it housing a restaurant (smelling of fresh baked bread) a glass (souvenir) store and a jewelry store. This was evidence enough for me. Link to comment
