Vincent...Thank you.You are right on all counts!This is a September shot of 2011 which I dug out of the files to break the winter freeze.This year is not so bad after an early start in late October,the snow has been minimal and the ice take-over is started making ice fishing(smelt) possible.Normally,the break-up of the ice cover occurs just in time for opening of the lobster fishing season, 1st May.....yes,a long winter.Salutations-Laurent
