Autumn pearls

Macro has never played a major role in my photography, but everytime I tried it, I felt rewarded in some way. This photo is a detail of an image I made of a dandelion with dewdrops, converted to B & W and slightly colored. Your comments are very welcome.

A truly fabulous macro, Vincent. The silvery tone is magnificent as is the composition.

macro is not a type of photography that I would like to pursue; it feels like a limitation to technicalities that are or aren't within reach. It also requires a lot of patience, which I have for bird photography, but not necessarily for insects on flowers, which is just a matter of preference. That's why I like the work of Paul Warkocki, who clearly has the drive to show that semi-hidden world and does a more than excellent job on it. An exquisite, artistic, great choice for BW to convey a more powerful effect. How many carats may this jewel have??? Hard to fathom, but you captured them all. You are a rich man, in all seriousness and with all due respect. DG
