tai 3 Posted August 15, 2019 An interesting rainy abstract, Zbigniew! The view from the window to the backyard plus this original frame. Perhaps you saw it and took a photo next to the garbage container. I like your pictures inside the pictures. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted August 15, 2019 Abstract art at its best, ZT. Unrecognizable objects, except for what appears to be a hole in a wall, coupled with dramatic contrast, textural variety, and bold contrast bring this image home. Bravo! - - mhl Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 20, 2019 I've been AWOL the last couple of months from PN so it's nice to see your work again. I've been posting on Instagram which is like being dropped in the middle of the Ocean without a boat. Kind of overwhelming and impersonal. I'll probably continue posting there and here too, since there's not much in the way of personal contact on Instagram which is something that's important to me. I'm afraid the bonds of community have weakened on PN as well, as is the case just about everywhere. The social network is kind of a misnomer since it seems to be social only in the most superficial way with communication mostly reduced to "likes", "admires", emojis and bland banalities. Now that we are all linked together, we find we have little to say to one another. Sorry for going on and on and forgetting to say what I should have said in the first place; this is a terrific abstract, one that poses more questions than answers as any good photograph should. Zbigniew Tyburczy - ZT 6 Posted August 21, 2019 Jack, Just like You said. It's not PN problem only, but most of social networks ...Also excessive overflow of information. the way, new lifestyle is 'designed' by social media etc... works somehow the opposite way.... Now days PN isn't a big community, but I think, dedicated to photography real people with their passion. That's one of reason I'm still here. I hope one day we all return to old good days, not just here on PN, but in everyday life. I'm still glad to see a lot of good photographers here on PN, whether they more or less active. ....And to know their real opinions about our photos. Jack, thank You for stopping by, your thoughts.
