vincentoiseau 83 Posted May 2, 2019 Hi Jack, this symphony of grey tones stimulates my imagination; the edifice on the edge between asphalt and concrete looks like a collapsing metal construction (or a seedlings holder discarded by a garden center, or a broken plastic box for groceries). I use the word 'edifice' because your presentation emphasizes the fact that it's a structure. Both the background materials as the vertical placement of the object support this impression. The vignetting works well here. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Zbigniew Tyburczy - ZT 6 Posted May 2, 2019 Jack,One of the best and the most interesting/inspiring photos, I've seen recently on PN. Incredible, almost catastrophic like feel( in my opinion ).I like 3d like feel, and colors.Needs more comments and attention.Regards,ZT Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 3, 2019 Miguel, David, Franz, Vincent, ZT, Tatiana, Jacek, Giangiogio - Thank you for your comments on this picture. Coming from such a talented, international group of photographers, they are much appreciated. At first I was going to title this "Architect's Model for the New Notre Dame Cathedral" but I thought better of it. Maybe more than a little cynical and way too topical. Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted May 4, 2019 The unmistakable personality of the author brought forward in a flash of an instant. Your work has a very special je ne se quois, but it is so powerful and strong, that your compositions, in my book and humble opinion, occupy a very special and unique space or category. Your images shout at the viewer, and this one is really loud! However unintelligible, it seems that the air trapped inside this dungeon cell is just screaming to be free....Just imagine dear friend, you are stern, rugged, and tough hunter, a stealthy stalker, catching the unsuspecting prisoner and photographing him while carefully guarded. With all sincerity and kidding aside, I humbly bow in respect for your work I so much admire, and metaphorically take my hat off. Best regards. DG Link to comment
