Through the Looking Glass

Jack, great to see again some work from you! The glass bricks half obscure / half open the view and leave me guessing what exactly they are hiding. My gaze oscillates between immediate surface (the glass bricks) and the background and I'm reminded of the fact that I shouldn't take everything I see at face value.

looking though these 24 lenses I see so many different things in such a deficient way that it's very hard to know what's behind all this. As frustrating as that sounds, it is at the same time challenging to get some clues and combine them. The result of my investigations is that we're looking at a seasonal holiday (Christmas ) display, but that may be totally wrong, which proves why searching for answers like this isn't accomplishing anything. My conclusion is that this is an image of visual inconsistency that stimulates the mind. Kind regards, Vincent

Geometric chaos spiced with color that breaks all rules ...

A vibrant jigsaw puzzle inviting the viewer to a partially imaginary child's room. There seems to be some happiness on the other side.

Amazing abstract image, Jack! It hooked me, but the reaction was not formulated immediately. There is an association with a faceted eye, similar to the eyes of some flying insects, but artificial. In each facet of this device, you can guess ommatidia going inside. I like it a lot! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana
