michaellinder 16,612 Posted January 31, 2019 Again, I forgot to click on the button to post comments I had made. Reconstruction from memory (ha ha ha) - - - You've obviously photographed 3 ancient coins - dinar, drachma, and shekel - embedded in stone. The very sharp detail amplifies the ancient appearance you captured. The fact that 2 of the coins are facing forward, while one is facing right, adds interest, as does the middle stone with a portion of its bulk missing. Fine work. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted February 2, 2019 Bravo Jack! The title truly throws one off.....But the amalgam of the image, strong and powerful and the so subjective a title is just wonderful. You leave us with a tough Koan.....a challenging riddle. What can THIS be? An image so profound that there is only one site, this one, in our entire Planet, swirling in the proximity of an unimaginably vast cosmos, which you manage to bring forth. It is, with all due respect, like diving into the Marianas Trench, the deepest place in the Oceans, only to find this "instant". With utter respect. Onegaishimasu. DG Link to comment
