The reflections may not portray your face, but they certainly portray your connection with the scene you were photographing. I'm also taken by the arches and brilliant highlights that are substituting for your face. Your monochrome work is a source of both wonder and inspiration. Link to comment

I think your picture is a very good use of the device with your reflection serving as ground for the sharply delineated interior image. Supriyo 6,008 Posted January 22, 2019 Thank you Michael. I must say this is not entirely original. I think you might have seen the self portraits of Vivian Maier. Thanks for mentioning the arches and the distant hallway door. I think, they create a sense of layering and depth, as well as a back and forth between the immediate vs distant. Link to comment
