Thank you Elaine for your compliments. Actually, I walked right into it. Saw some people shooting through some trees, and this was it. Funny, next time I was in Sanibel (4 yrs later) I saw this same shot on the cover of a calendar in a local gift shop. Bill N.

This species of night heron has a different and better plumage than the one that lives here in Sardinia, wonderful photo, ciao Giangiorgio
