frigo 4,155 Posted November 11, 2018 Radu...Thank you my friend. When I get tired of the miserable weather conditions here,I sneak back into my file for a getaway;this one I had already posted some time ago and I reworked it with my ''sharpened'' (?) skills.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted November 13, 2018 Great picture. They are men, but will they live to also be old men? Besides, have you heard of the 2 year old Indonesian boy chain-smoking 40 cigarettes daily? You can learn more about it here: https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/2-year-old-indonesian-boy-smokes-40-cigarettes-a-day-drinks-mochachino Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted November 13, 2018 Philip Carlo...Indonesians smoke these Kretek(tobacco-cloves-++)cigarettes;it seems all men, some women and obviously some children like these I ran across in the mountainous area of East Java have an affinity for these. These little guys plus others, much younger were smoking when I came across them but they really pumped up the smoke when they saw my interest and the camera. This is amongst my favorite pictures of Indonesia and I am glad you also like.....PS-I looked up the story on the Indonesian boy-chain smoker;interesting to say the least!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
svetlana_korolyova 27 Posted November 14, 2018 Very interesting shot! Perhaps these boys follow traditions and feel grown up with cigarettes. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted November 14, 2018 Svetlana...You are right.I remember when I was that age and smoking was the first visible expression of exhibiting I was grown up.Fortunately,I gave it up when my children were born and have not smoked since.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
