Black Rock Winter

A magnificent winter shot, Alf. It's expertly composed, needless to say. There are several well seen contrasts: the wispy appearance and character of the sky compared with the rocky, snow-laden spokes of the mountains; the obvious contrasts in color between the snow and the vegetation; and finally the red door(s) contrasted against the black roof and the stark, stone, bright white walls of the cottage. It seems to me that that cottage has endured lots of time and was built in such a way so as to survive much more. - - My best always, michael
