This owner and her ancient breed, chow chow, appeared a perfect complement to the hues of this fall-like day along the river Seine in Paris. I understand the source of the Seine northwest of Dijon is marked by a statue of a nymph, a dog, and a dragon and the name Seine comes from the Latin Sequana, the Gallo-Roman goddess of the river.

Wayne, to me, the image represents yin and yang, the unity of opposites. Specifically I'm referring to the diagonals that appear to conflict, but the presence of the woman and the dog brings them and the entire frame into balance. Outstanding work. - - My best, michael
