Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 4, 2017 Given the vintage Citroen, the short dresses, high heels and wine glasses, I would guess I came upon a fashion shoot along the Seine in Paris. Or maybe this is just being French. Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks, Chris. Not sure what caught my attention first - the short dresses or the car. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks, ZT. Seeing the original image would spoil the magic. I was some distance from my subjects, cruising down the Seine. The image is not that sharp and there is too much detail. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks, Patsy. I am not sure that many of the French dress that way. I saw a few very high heels. Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted September 7, 2019 This is truly a wonderful modification, but knowing it IS a photograph, I can appreciate the personal taste you have added to the image, thanks to a great deal of mathematics and the wonders of digital post-processing programs. Thumbs up! DG Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 14, 2019 Thanks, Pierre and Daniel. I now see first as a painter and then as a photographer. Usually if there are people in the scene it becomes a painting. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 19, 2019 Wayne, I read your response to Pierre and Daniel and found it most interesting, especially trying to apply it to my work. I bemoan the fact that I have absolutely no basis for thinking that I might have the sort of abilities that one might have as a painter. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 579 Posted September 20, 2019 Michael, thanks for commenting. Sometimes I talk too much about art. I think it is my way of trying to understand what I am trying to do. Your work, your unique way of seeing is part of my education. Link to comment
gasperk.zevnik 16 Posted April 12, 2021 I had to take a look upon your gallery and I must say, that this one caught my eye from the start! Marvelous contrasts and beautiful balance. Eventhough it's stylized it still tells the story. Link to comment
Jean-Claude 356 Posted July 12, 2021 The car or the dress 1st? Les 2 mon capitaine !(expression from the army as you had guessed) Very nice indeed, thank you! Link to comment

tm_j 30 Posted March 1, 2022 As I grew up, my late father use to own a couple of this car. This sure bring up old memories ... my oldest brother was taught how to drive it and then when he left for the US, I was left with the task to clean, wash and move it in/out of the house. It's a universal image (to me) since it's made in France but it exists in man y corners of the world and definitely in mine (many years ago). Very nice image Wayne Saddler! You probably reach more than your intended target, LOL! - Beautiful image! Link to comment
rws 2,648 Posted May 13, 2022 Like a memory from the times I lived in Geneva and visited Paris in the 1960s, as a teenager. Wonderful Link to comment
