Giangiorgio Crisponi 498 Posted August 28, 2017 Flamingo taking off - (Phoenicopterus ruber) The oblique light of the first sun at dawn, highlights the trails left by the take-off of the flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber). The photo was taken from a hill overlooking the lagoon of Cagliari at the distance of about one kilometer. DGorinstein 20 Posted August 30, 2017 Timely capture and nice effect. Visually pleasing, and immediately captivating. IMHO after many years of looking at photographs and taking them, I guess any amateur or professional photographer is looking for that "initial impulse" to see it longer, or seeing it again. In a world where there are literally billions of images being uploaded everywhere, you can call this a well deserved achievement. DG Link to comment
