iLOVEnature 15 Posted March 11, 2017 This location is the highest crime area in Peoria, actually I put myself in high risk while capturing this photo. That day I arrived this place at 5am in early morning purposely waited for sunrise, the temperature was so cold and below zero. A patrol car suddenly stopped me, the police officer asked me must leave this place immediately. I told the police officer "Please allow me to take at least one sunrise photo, I spent 3 hours drove from my home to here". Ended up the police officer accompany me for protection till I done, really thanks to the police officer :) Rising sun at dawn in winter, photo captured in a freezing cold morning under Murray Baker Bridge, Peoria Illinois USA. JimCowan 0 Posted March 11, 2017 I like the way you have framed this, sometimes we go out of our way to have an unobstructed view without shrubs and tree branches, however in this case these elements help to focus the viewers attention. Your image truly captures the atmosphere of time and place. Your story attests to your commitment to capture this scene. Well done! Jim Link to comment
