I would try a slightly different angle. Try to put the man in the left part of the image, the elbow to touch the frame, and the fence to "flow" to the right, maybe with a little out of focus in far right part. The light is also not at it's best but you can live with it. You can play with it in black&white to obtain a more dramatic effect. 

You can also try a crop. Cut just obove his head and from his fingers to the left, nothing from his hand to remain in the frame.
