I like the layering preformed here, however, some of the "purest" my find fault with this.

Great subject and with your technique make a unique statement in the art world. 

You've just returned from your flight of fancy with a companion.  It's actually a puzzle.  Viewers have to determine whether there are 3 birds, each trying to swallow a fish, or one bird in 3 stages of ingestion. (I opt for the latter.)

This is one of those once in a blue moon occurrences that, if the stars are right and you're lucky enough to have your camera with you, results in an instant classic. Your treatment seems to fit the spirit of the moment very well. A favorite.
