Holger,

Welcome back...you were missed.  Strange for this Texas boy to see a bit of snow at the beach, but I really like how you have composed this image.  This has good leading lines and a wonderful sky.  Best Regards...bb

Nice landscape, like the lines and the way they take your eyes across the image, very good. Great sky that adds some feeling and interest. All the best for 2017, Ken.

I feel the cold and the wind and don't get a wish-I-were-there feel at all ;-).  However, you've framed and composed this perfectly... Mike

I really love the dynamics of the sky in this scene, the footsteps in the snow and the leading lines of the fence and jetty!

Glad you read you are starting to feel better too!

Very Best Wishes

Thanks very much my dear and supportive friends. I just got a new wide angle lens for my Olympus om-d em-1. It's there new 7-14mm f2.8 pro lens, not that I'm anywhere near a pro myself, I will need some instruction on it's proper use and wide angle images as well. I love the look they give. See you all soon.

That wide angle lens is really offering beautiful scenic Holger. What I like the most is that there is very little if any 'distortion'. For some reason I am not fond of the images that look rounded on the edges and things are not in perspective. This is beautiful. Kind of hard to come by at this time of year.

Holger,  I like the converging "V" in the clouds and how your composition; fence, pier, and snow, and foot prints all lead to it.  The image says "If snow is gone, can spring be far behind?"  Nicely done, Holger.   Larry

Holger, fantastic composition with a subject that takes back to my Cuban summers in a beach near our home where we spend Summers vacations! Happy New Year. Great that your are totally recovered. Warm regards my friend.

I am sorry I missed this one Holger. Admirable shot. Excellent leading lines in this shot. I have a 27inch monitor now and it shows so nicely on it. I don't know that I like all my images so big - will have to figure out what to size them to so they are not so huge.
