At Mikonos

Superb tonal quality.

I presume this is an old church fallen to ruin. The shape of the broken wall and the arches stand out against a nearly black sky. Striking.

25 years ago, scanned from Velvia.

Reminds me of New Mexico landscape and Georgia O'Keefe art, well seen, captured and post processed.

good job exposing this on Velvia. I like the contrast between the church and the dark sky. You were lucky about the clouds, without them it would not be as interesting.

Hi Peter. I opened  up a bunch of folders, those  clear special  slide film  holder sheets,  of  slide film titled  to  different  part of the world,  here  my travel all over  Greek and  they islands. Lots  of  beautiful  images  on slide film, Unfortunately,  it  is a big job  and a slow one  to scan some of  them  and  the  saved  images  not  very good quality,  those  images  needed a very expensive  drum scanner, not  a Nikon Coolscan 4000 ED. I probably  never  going to scan them, specially  now,  when I'm in a very serious  health  trouble.
