Cool shot! The hazy background trees give just enough depth, but still leave a lot to the viewer's imagination.

Beautiful image, but,  you left a very little  foreground  for the horse, and quizzed  to  the  very right bottom corner of the image. IMHO.

My suggestion  as  seen below, or  above?

Congratulations on the POTD.   For openers, I agree with Bela about the crop.  That's the only weak element in this image.  Due to the gentle contrasts and soft detail, it just pulls in those of us (like me) who search for peace and occasional solitude.  The hint of other hills and tree branches bereft of leaves is a masterful touch.
