I don't believe you had the same intimate relationship with this fellow as you had with the cheetah in the previous picture. Terrific picture, though. How close were you anyway?

You  can see me in his eyes.  As you can see. He  is  looking up-way  to my eye, about 2 yards  or less. I  was trying to mesmerize  him,  by not  blinking and hold  the look.  Then he  walked a way, about 15-20 yard, then  turned  to me, and suddenly charged  with a roar. We  had a fence  between us,  but  I  jumped  back  by instinght, a natural  reflex. He stopped  the charge about  3-5  yard, and  heavily  huffing and puffing  walked  back to the bush to sit and relax. So, He  did a show.  I can tell you,  it  was a hell of an experience  to look so close  to  his  eyes.  We where  about 6-7  persons, and  the  lion  walked  ones  to  the  fence  so close  and "to me".  (?)
