Another mystical place: This picture was taken in Sillustani, Puno, Perú. This is a

necropolis, built at 4,000 meters above sea level (more than 13,000 feet).

I will appreciate your comments.

The couple siluettes are fantastic early to pick up the second figure is peruvian, the first one and Enlish gentleman! The sky contributes a great deal to the beauty of the image. I can image these scene is in the mountains near couscous and Machupichu.

Thanks Jorge, I appreciate your comments. In fact both silhouettes are native Peruvian. Puno is near Cusco, although by road, the journey takes approximately 5 hours (due to the mountains).

Hi Chris, thank you for the visit.

A really beautiful image. The silhouette of these native Peruvians against this magnificent sky is made even better by the conversion to black and white, ciao Giangiorgio

fabulous capture. I like the silhouettes - very effective - I have read about this place - you are visiting such amazing places.  The grasses look beautiful against the beautiful sky - amazing clouds.  LOVE IT !

The color photos are very informative documentation of this ancient land but the b/w shot adds mystery and mood.  Well done.... Mike

Hi, Gail. Here in Peru there are a lot of archaeological sites to visit, but many of them are abandoned without supervision, and unscrupulous people are dedicated to stealing and looting these places, which is a shame, as much information is lost and cause irreparable damage to Heritage National. Thank you very much for commenting.

Hi Mike. I also prefer the black and white image ... more dramatic! Thanks for your visit!

Warm Regards,

Rosario.

Tony and Jorge, I really like the black frame,  think it's a good idea. The thin white line, looks nice too. Thank you very much!

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

Though the photo at color is good, it is taken well to the b/w in this case. The contrast helps to give presence to the prominent figures. Congratulation. Regards.
