Timo Hartikainen 548 Posted October 14, 2016 Beautiful. How many seconds it takes to get this kind of beautiful photo? I have tried to shoot the stars a few times, but it was 20 years ago with film cameras, and I wanted to get star trails at that time, so I had my shutter open for many minutes. Link to comment
peter_wintergren 0 Posted October 14, 2016 Waldemar and Timo, thanks a lot for your comments. This is a two row panorama consiting of 10 seperate images stitched together. Exposuretime for every single photo was 42 seconds (f/2.8; ISO 3200) I used Nikon D800 togeher with Nikkor 14-24 shooting at 14mm. I drove 100km from my town to reach some dark place, it was a risk because the sky was partly cloudly when I started to go, but I was lucky to have at least 30 minutes of clear sky when I came to this lake.Regards Peter Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 571 Posted October 15, 2016 It is good the world put an artist at this place, at this time with the talent to present this. Brilliant work, Peter. Link to comment
