Thank you all so very much for the kind words and taking the time to view the image. I shot this at the end of February, about the only time you would have no footprints. I was looking for that pristine clear sand and found this small area...and yes there were footprints all over, nearby. See you soon.

Washed out feel.. no footprints but the textured sands well represented! This is a perfect depiction of the desert1

Holger,  Finding no footprints in the sand is a rarity.  This is well done.  The tree on the right balance well with the shadow at left.  Good work.  Larry
