The other side - Not to plagiarize our POW. There is a clear distinction

between the stone texture on the inside and outside, which caught my

attention. also please notice the foot.

Beautiful textures--I love how you've handled the black & white to bring them out so clearly. I also really like the composition and point of view. And it's impossible not to notice the foot. But that foot did a very interesting thing for me--without it, I would have gotten the orientation wrong, thinking that up was indeed up. The foot does a remarkably good job of literally grounding the image, and that turns its presence from merely being read as a photographic oversight to being an important and valued element of the composition. And the really cool thing was the physical sensation of disorientation I got when I noticed the foot and the photo instantly reoriented itself in my mind. Really nice! (I didn't read the caption until later--if you want others to get that roller-coaster sensation of discovery, maybe "the other side" would be the more effective title).
