Supriyo 6,008 Posted June 7, 2016 Svetlana,You have nailed the perfect moment. The symmetry among the multiple parallel lines is broken by the organic figure in the middle. The three dark patches produce beautiful triangles that lead the eye to the center. Shadows are the main characters in this drama that is portrayed. I like the ballet played by the cyclist while curving in his bicycle. He is the conductor of this shadow play. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted June 7, 2016 Excellent shot, kind of reminiscent of Cartier-Bresson in its creative and geometric use of shadows. Link to comment
lynnemass 10 Posted June 7, 2016 Wow - count the triangles. Wonderful use of shadows and shapes - circles, triangles, rectangles - and so much negative space in the form of triangles. The geometry is dramatically offset by the human curve and its shadow. So well seen. Shooting from above is emphasizes the drama. Link to comment
gfisch9862 0 Posted June 8, 2016 You definitely captured the "decisive moment" in this one. Well done! Cartier-Bresson would be proud. Link to comment
