You don't really have to get out there and shoot; pictures are everywhere as you have proven with the above photo. Having said that, I'm going to go out and shoot.

You could have presented this image in any number of contrived ways, by arranging the items in careful lines or within the boundaries of the squares on the table. But instead you have given the viewer of a natural glimpse of reality. Nothing contrived or pretentious, just a valid indication of how we all live but seldom stop to think about it. This image....... makes me stop and think about it!

Tony, Ken, Patsy, and Alf, thank you for the very nice comments and taking the time to look. It is just an everyday thing we do, sit down grab the remote and start looking...for something, almost anything just so long as we can sit and be mindless for just a little while before going back to the work grind. This represents that and the frustration of not enough time to get out and shoot....so we shoot indoors too. See you soon.

Agree me too Jack comment,every where there are something to see and good as photo subject,plus if is a dark rainy day only to be inside house the subject is there.About our life,yes is true that we also have lot of time on tv,smartphone,computer hope to be not completely dependent on this.A walk in nature can do more for our soul and body.

The "Never" in your title conveys such relief.  The gaggle of remotes is certainly a call to inaction.

Timely image as I am constantly going to the gym and walking in nature. Miami Has a gorgeous city beautiful Coral Gables and we spend lots of time walking around!

I love this shot.  The only thing that would have added to the 'fray' would be a Cell Phone!!!  Winter is so long - Summer is here - and life seems new.  Looking forward to your Vacations shots Holger!
