Nice to see you back after a rather lengthy hiatus, Gail. As usual you bring us one of your beautifully wrought originals. You have such a wonderful way with light, color and tone and this one, deceptively simple, fits in there with your best.

Certainly I enjoy this composition Gail. It is very fun to play with textures and blending modes. I learned here in photonet to use them. I like the  diagonal composition of the image, the colors and the wonderful texture of the background.

Good job!

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

Ahhhh Clematis, they remain one of my favourite flowers and even the shape and textures of the buds seem to hold the promise of the glory within.  You have demonstrated that latent secret so very well here.

Very well done Gail

Best Regards

The bud is perfectly framed Gail and I love the light on its top as well as the complimentary colors and textures of the canvas!
