A warm day in October 2009, Coney Island boardwalk was packed

with interesting people. This guy just needed a break. Your

comments are very welcome. Thanks for looking.

I love the backdrop to this shot, and the parked bicycle! It's almost as if his dreams are being displayed on the wall behind!

Excellent!

Best Regards

Holger,

a nice capture indeed.  And like Alf, I especially like the mural and bicycle.  Nicely done.

Great capture well spotted and presented. So well composed with nice light and colours. Best regards Ken.

I like how he mirrors the posture of the beach chair figure in the mural, and, of course, "things go better with Coke" ;-).... Mike

OK, I suspect you decorated the wall and positioned the bicycle while the man was asleep!  The result was an amazing image, composed expertly, alive with vivid color, and replete with detail.  I love how you captured the sleeper with his hat on his knee.

My best,

michael

Many thanks for the great comments. See you soon. This wall and mural are part of the New York aquarium which is located right next to Coney Island. Mr Linder getting the hat onto his knee was the tricky part. Again thank you very much.

The colors meld nicely.  The blues on the wall and his shirt.   The oranges, pinks, and peach of his skin.

Perfect moment with fantastic background! Details are many and interesting with my heart felt afro theme!

Warm regards my friend.

This one caught my eye again because I think it is excellent. Based on the position of the red can, he must have been sitting before he decided to lie down.
