Wondering

Perhaps because I know the subject and his circumstances - despite his

eye being partially obstructed by his glasses, I find the expression

haunting. Thoughts? Many thanks...Jane

Like the composition quite a bit - can see why you do.

On my monitor, I'm getting odd colors. Purple below ear, sideburn, temple, nose. Greenish on cheekbones. 'Don't know what post process was applied, but looks heavy on saturation, contrast.

As a portrait, I like it. The glasses don't really detract at all.

Thanks, Doug. Surprised by the colors when I opened here in critique. Not in the original but definitely will rework to be sure they disappear. I find times when I am working too fast for my computer, I get unexpected results. Need to wait 'til I am sure I have seen it all before popping it out  somewhere. Glad to say that I no longer see the expression captured here.  With about 8 months of life changing habits he is back in control showing lots of well earned smiles.
