aplumpton 16 Posted March 31, 2016 Sorry, just a gut reaction and obviously not the taste of other critiquers here. But I hope it may be seen as sincere and not meant to injure. There is room for all interests in our chosen hobby or profession. Link to comment
Julie H 312 Posted March 31, 2016 This is not a picture, it's a Venus fly trap and you are the fly.The bait, 'fishing' (who doesn't love fishing?), sucks you in, but just as you are realizing that there is nothing whatsoever to sit on in this 'picture,' you find yourself blown rather violently to the right, about two feet to the right of the frame to be exact, which is where the 'picture' really takes place. Ah, there it's summertime and the living is easy. Link to comment
endof_days 0 Posted March 31, 2016 My eye is pulled to the tangle of the dogs legs with the mans, which is the only interesting aspect of the photo. After 5 seconds of sorting that out I am bored and want to look away. Link to comment
Saadsalem 74 Posted March 31, 2016 A unique silhouette with that yellow and orange background, the man and his dog are very sharp and completely devoid of any details,I don't know if it's a direct result from the camera or it's enhanced by the author?. In any case the author is successful in producing a technically perfect work with the necessary elements of aesthetic. I guess the supetelephoto lens have helped a lot. Link to comment
Robin Smith 811 Posted March 31, 2016 I agree with you, Arthur, but sometimes the Coke etc. is just what you need. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 1, 2016 I don't drink Coke. Too sweet. Empty calories. I'm not sure this would even make it as a Hallmark card. It's like a roses-are-red poem. Link to comment

pablowarko 1 Posted August 31, 2019 Fantastic looking silhouette of the dog and fisherman against the amazing looking sky and clouds, Giangiorgio. The clouds have the look of intense heat. A very beautiful capture. Have a great day, Paul. Link to comment
