jasonsmith894 0 Posted February 21, 2016 Long exposure image taken during a recent morning shoot. Converted to B&W in PS. Comments are most appreciated. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Link to comment
luxborealis 0 Posted February 21, 2016 ...with great clouds and a simple but powerful composition.Photographers will wonder why you chose such a direct composition instead of moving to one side to create a leading line perspective of the wooden piers. However, what you've done is different and, in many ways, stronger. You should consider toning down the brighter top area of clouds along the top middle; the eye is unnecessarily drawn there, exiting the photograph, rather than being subtly redirected back in by a lower tonal value. Also, consider raising the values of the water to make it more silvery.Great photograph for the wall. Congratulations! Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted February 21, 2016 It is a symmetrical composition, almost fully, but, this time it is excellent and perfectly done. Fortunately the sky, clouds not washed a way and that is one of the subject in the image what making this a great shoot. For suggestion to improv on the all ready great image, I would, IMHO, extended the lover part a little to dramatize the composition even better. I like the image very much. You where so lucky with the sky. (7). The B&W processing is great too. Link to comment
jasonsmith894 0 Posted February 23, 2016 Thank you both for the helpful feedback. I was thinking about a square crop for this image, but hadn't thought about extending the foreground. Link to comment
