Winter Walk in Perlacher Forst

A cemetery in a public park area in Munich (1980), winter snow, a cold walk

on a sunny morning.

The sharpness and exposure are excellent and the scene does indeed capture the atmosphere  of a walk on a cold winters day. 

I can understand why you would want the structure on the right to be included in the frame, but I think a better balanced composition would be with the camera swivelled to the left slightly to allow a view of the tree's on both sides of the avenue.  

The diagonal shadows and the human figure are other great additions to the scene.

A slight leaning  to the right, it same to me,  over sharpened,  but, it  is a very nice image. I like the color tone too.

Ok.  Second look, it  is  the  grain in the  film, not the  over-sharpening perhaps.

Thanks for the critique, Alf and Bela. I explored several compositions for this scene, including whether to exclude the structure at the right edge. I finally opted to include it because I think it supports the near-far relationship along the line created by the trees & path, ending at the small figure on the far left. The structure becomes a secondary center of interest, in my opinion, and helps the viewer "enter" the frame. Hope this helps explain why I left it in.
