Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted December 17, 2015 Larger view available. We visited Miami University, my alma mater, during our Thanksgiving visit with our kids and grandson. I recall my final exam in advanced composition from Upham Hall, "Look out the window and tell me what you see." Look out of the arch with me and tell me what and how you see. Thanks. thadley 15 Posted December 17, 2015 This is excellent. I like that the inner walls are dark but not so dark that details would be absent. The view which has depth and beauty is promising, positive and particularly soothing in world that seems to be in tumultuous turmoil. All the best, Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted December 18, 2015 It is sometimes very difficult to balance exposure from within a structure to that outside of it, but you have achieved it here with great detail and natural looking colours. I would imagine that it was quite a challenge shooting into the sun. I love scenes of empty places that are usually packed with people and I have a feeling this may be one of those places.Nice work Larry! Alf Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted December 18, 2015 Morning solitude and a peaceful mood is what this pov brings me Larry. The large view reveals nice textures of stone and slate in what looks like a very welcoming environment even without leaves on the trees'. I can imagine how nice it would be in spring or the fall. I wish you and your family Happy Holidays.Best Always, Holger Link to comment
