I think this may appear even more weird without the small amount of sky that puts us in touch with reality. A great find though and I do like the way the light is reflected!

I agree with Alf, omission of the sky would make it a bit more puzzling (weirder ?). I like it either way.

Gents, thank you so much for your impressions. I agree it would be more weird w/out the sliver of sky. It struck me as weird - to have the wall of a public bldg, finished so extravagantly. Stainless isn't cheap. Sculptured stainless has to be a fortune.  Would you believe its the front wall of a wastewater treatment facility?  That said, it is full of interesting lines, textures, and opportunities for reflected light.

Impressive formation with great texture and that curved graphics - love it!

A very special structure that you photographed well. I have no problem with the sky, since the shooting angle likely did not allow you to omit it. But, of course, a version taken from a different view, without the sky, would be a viable alternative.
