This is my second visit this winter, and this time the Towers were to be seen

with very good light, but no clouds unfortunately. So I repeated the shot of the

other day with the coirón grass, but now with the towers. 08:00 h in the

morning, with Polar filter and HD Graduated filter 2. Thanks for ratings and

critiques.

Beautiful light, wonderful light and an enticing image.

For what it is worth, I have just about eliminated using a polarizer on my wide-angle Sigma 10-20mm (effective 15 - 30mm on DX) because I don't like the uneven density in the sky. It is a matter of personal taste, I suppose.

Love the contrasting colours and the foreground detail. The low light really makes a difference.

I know exactly what Tony refers to regarding the polarising filter, I had similar problems when used on a clear sky. Not so noticeable, if at all when used during cloudy conditions.

Very well done!

Best Regards

Thanks for all your critics and v ery good ratings. Yes I know, I am bit  slave of the polar filter. Should take more photos with and without filter and decide later which one is the best shot. I will also rectify a bit the horizon, toward the left.

Excellent composition but just because you use a polarizer doesn't mean you have to fully polarize the scene. A slight polarizaton might have worked better.
