not an easy thing to come up with an original photograph of one of the most photographed places in the world. However, this nocturnal frame composed with not a soul around but the photographer, somehow shifts a banal situation into a more compelling view for the viewer, makes the scene more personal, and therefore interesting.

Elegant and balanced, refined composition. IMO it requires great planning and great perception of something to convey to the observer, all very well achieved in this superb image.

B&W film is great by the way. It's very hard to make an image like this with digital cameras.
