Just a bit of darkening and more contrast maybe, just a little! It also may look good in B&W, on the expense of the color of the suit of the real gentleman!

Well seen (or arranged) and done Tamara!

Cheers

Thanks a lot for your comment and help. If honestly, I checked it in b&w, but somehow was mesmerized by the colour of the suit and was afraid that the real man will be lost in unreal world. :). So thanks for making me look at it for a second time. I like it better. Conclusion number two: I don't have patience and self confidence. Hugs, Tamara

Excellent observation and capture.  It takes a sharp photographic eye to notice and capture a street scene like this. The mannequins lined up and the construction worker at the end of the line.

There is an alternative to a pure B & W photo, you could use B & W with selective colour for the "real  man" : - )  a bit gimmicky maybe, but effective nonetheless.

Warm Regards

Great capture.  The man in the red/orange suit sharply in focus is wonderful contrast against the monotonal, not so focussed mannequins in the window lined up.  They lead the viewer's eye right to the worker.  Well seen and nicely captured!  I would not do it in BW (although I love BW), and not in selective color (gimmicky, as Pierre says).  It is almost selective color as captured and I think it is perfect and competition worthy.

Very well done and interesting shot! I can understand your reticence for contrasting this photo more but have you tried it? It might work but it's great just as it is because the orange is the exact opposite on the color wheel to the blues worn by the fake men and the photographed men placed behind them, so it is already naturally contrasted. Wonderful shot and great eye for seeing it. Great title too! Thank you for sharing. :)

P.S. Just after leaving my critique I checked it out in the larger view and the contrast shows up much better in that size than the size I was looking at while leaving my comment.

So  many mannequin, and  one  is  real,  with that  gears  and  red overall.  You have a good  sense for  street photography. Excellent image.

Cheers.
