Pierre Dumas 286 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm afraid it could have been better in color! PDE Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted April 25, 2015 i just submitted a similar picture for critique, saying that magnolias seem better to me in black and white. their colours are lacklustre. Thanks Pierre. best, j Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted April 28, 2015 Hi Jamie. I really like the composition of this, it has a very Zen feel to it! Would look very good hanging on a wall. Also like how some of the flowers are backlit too, giving textures and tones. By the way it was a coincidence but I also chose the same title for one of my images not long before seeing this but glad I found this capture all the same. Great work. Best wishes. Sarah. alfbailey 3 Posted August 21, 2016 Very Japanese garden, or at least that's the kind of impression I get. I like the second version better, a bit less harsh. Very pleasant ! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
