dgv 1 Posted March 11, 2015 Thanks for your comment, when they are nearly ready, I brush them with a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice and I sprinkle them with a little Maldon salt. The calamari does not need long on the barbecue, only until it becomes opaque, otherwise it becomes too tough..-:). Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted March 11, 2015 I know nothing of food photography, but I guess it's like all other photography, if it conveys the message that the photographer wants to communicate then it's a recipe for success : - ) I like the freshness that the image conveys, the light textures and very natural colours. It's such a shame I wasn't invited to that barbecue : - ) Of the three images I have studied (all of them excellent in their own right) this is the one that makes me hungry enough to stop what I am doing and go look in the refrigerator : - ) Compliments & Best Regards My Friend! But I do know a lot about food, cooking is my main hobby and food presentation is part of the ritual of eating the other main ingredient is good company and you are always invited to share with us.
