Terrific image with a strong emotional pull. Composition and light are stunning. Some might complain of a bit too much negative space, but not me.

I really don't mind the negative space, it seems to be a part of the story. The dog is so forlorn looking, as if his owner found whatever was hiding in the hole, and made a quick 'get away', leaving him to wonder when he will return. Very nice work.

A strong emotional pull here - and beautiful light and color.  There is a lot of minor, but interesting detail throughout - and this begs the viewer to linger, (a very good thing).

Very much reminds me of an Andrew Wyeth painting!

Well done Salvador.

Nice image - I like it very much.  Aston looks forlorn to me though (reinforced by the disheveled surroundings), rather than sinister.

Wow, great work - harmony of hues, tonal values and all elements of the composition seem perfectly placed. Congrats, Salvador.
