At first glance,I also thought to be looking at a stampede as seen in those vintage western movies;a tighter crop to eliminate the train would just enhance this feeling.Choice image and makes me wonder how one manages to recuperate his/her bike if parked in the middle of the lot or what happens when hundreds of passengers come off that train and go for their bikes.Excellent and sharp image to see clear in this impressive lot.

The sea of bikes. What a find, and I know, in Scandinavia, it is nots an unusual, or difficult to find  view. Used to live at Trolhettan, Sweden, in the 1960-65s.

I like the tones in this photograph. It tells a story, and sort of looks like a stampede of animals. I do feel sorry for the people whose bikes are in the middle. I guess they will have to be patient until all the others claim theirs.
