Okay, Im taking a risk here with this crop and wanted to see what others

thought. I think it is breaking a few rules, but in a pleasing way. What do

you guys think?

That it was worth to take the risk! Of course you would probably get better ratings if you had followed the divine rules... but then your portfolio would look a bit more boring (like mine...). Great tones, nice light and details, and wonderful model. I like a lot her smile and relaxed expression. And I like how the green metal structure (an old car or truck ?) frames her face.

Great image 1st rule is- there are no rules.  2nd  I think you have the Golden Ratio going on in this photo it draws you to look at the face and eyes it is a very strong and well cropped image.

This looks like you hit the rule of thirds right on her right eye and the hair that's cropped out doesn't matter, we all know what it looks like.

You have a beautiful model, her expression is nice, pleasant colors, well done!
