  1. The florescent blown out whites are way too distracting. Correct exposure time and try again.

Light... Photography is all about light. If you don't have a decent light, then turn the subject away from the light and use the light as a hair light. This just screams ...photographer doesn't know what he's doing. ....

Cute shot, a hard time of day to do photographs.

    Really cute shot.

Very nice print. I love the softness of the light that matches the softness of the mood. Nice job.

Adorable shot. I love his body language and mama's hands holding on to him. Great perspective with the camera, and the black and white processing makes this really stand out emotionally.

The lighting here really makes the shadows under this baby's eyes look pretty hollow. If you want him to look sick, well you've succeeded, however move your light more in line with the camera until you can see the reflection of light in his eyes.

The lighting here is pretty awful, the HDR type processing makes the lighting stand out even more. If you're going to go through the trouble of pulling in lighting, try positioning it a little better.

Not artsy, just off. The draping on the chair looks like a pervert tried to invite a girl over to see her tail and just threw some old sheet over his basement chair.

I love this. I don't think it has any commercial value, but the shot would most likely be loved and cared for by the one in the photo. Nice work.

    Red Sunset

Gorgeous print! I think this could have a wide audience if printed correctly on the right materials.

    Circle 2

Very commercial piece. I could see this in a Marshalls store as a print or an artist rendering on canvas. Nice piece, very usable.
  14. This is an example of finishing.
  15. Very nice, however it's missing the finishes. It's a strong portrait but you would never see this, in this condition ready for print. Finishing means you take out the hot spots etc and finish it ready for magazine which I do believe with the finishing touches that it could be magazine ready. Very editorial.
