I increased exposure by two stops and thought I lost the image, but

in photo shop I darkened highlights and got this image. I'm curious

what others think of it.

I really like it! It has that ghost like quality and the aura of silence that seems to be present in foggy conditions.  One observation I would make is that the vessel is pointing out of the image rather than into it, but  that's hardly a criticism in this case as the yacht looks like it is leaving the building in the background and so has a story to tell.

Nice work Jeff!

Jeff, I really like the light: the glow on the sails and the foggy atmosphere. Have you considered cropping some of the left part of the image? IIt would give more emphasis to the lighthouse and the ship.

As others have said, nice shot.  I would not crop the left out...that is what is part of the story.  It is the safe harbor the ship is leaving.  Maybe you just have to be a sailor to understand/  ;)
