The Dock of the Bay, no more

After Hurricane Sandy much of the NJ coastline was forever

changed. Here's an example, the dock formerly extended to the last

pole, and I don't remember the sand bar being that prominent, boats

couldn't get in and out now. It's certainly not as important as peoples

lives and homes but another example of the destruction that storm

brought. Thanks for looking and your thoughts and comments are

always welcome. Can be viewed larger.

The dock and Otis are both gone, but I'm sure the dock will be re-built.  A very good documentary shot... Mike

Lady and Gentlemen thank you for looking and commenting. Mike I don't think this will be rebuilt. As I recall there were only a few boats moored here and it may not have a worthwhile return, but life goes on. Thanks again, see you all soon.
