Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted July 2, 2014 Joel, Excellent image. The light is wonderful, the reflections are mirror clear and the soft water doubles the sky. Great job on this. I will have to look up Tobermory to see where it is in Ontario. My compliments. Larry Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted July 2, 2014 Joel, I checked out this location on Google Earth. Is the image of the connection between Georgian Bay and Larke Huron? Thanks for sharing your image. Larry Link to comment
charo 3 Posted July 2, 2014 Nice Landscape Joel. The golden hours really do the magic to this picture. The colors are so beautiful and also the reflection. Composition is good, and panoramic format works well. Regards,Rosario. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted July 2, 2014 Lovely reflections and mood. The image is well balanced and has a great sense of tranquillity about it.The lightness of the of the stones and lack of shadow gives me the impression that you may have used HDR techniques to create this, not that it matters, it is very well done! lonebearimages 0 Posted July 4, 2014 I love the lighting conditions here, Joel; and if this is a blend of two or more images, then very well done. Having said that though, I do think that the FG doesn't add anything, and I think there's a little 'hinkiness' in the coloration of the rocks in that area of the image. I think I'd have endeavored to have stepped forward a few meters to eliminate it completely. This may not have been possible, but the wide channel leading the eye into the narrower part really brings the viewer into the heart and soul of the image. Again, this is a worthy addition to your interesting Tobermory series. Cheers! Link to comment
